Trip to Temburong
Last Sunday, on the 15th of November, 26 students from PTEK accompanied by 5 teachers went for a trip to Temburong. The trip was organized by Cg. Ainun from Geography Department.
We went hiking at Bukit Patoi. It was very challenging..
but we managed to get to the top :D
After that, we went for a 'swim' in Selapon. We also did some hydrology exercise which was quite new for us :)

green & red house tryouts.
On Wednesday,11th November, green house and the reds had their tryouts for the the Sports day which will be held on the 25th November. They had their tryouts together with the Reds. So it was a pretty hectic afternoon, for the all the participants, with the pressure and all :P they tried their best and that is all that matters.
It was pretty hectic so for those who helped the teachers, we appreciate it!!!

Brunei Traditional Dance Competition - Preliminary Round
On 9th November 2009, our beloved school, PTEK, participated in the First Brunei Traditional Dance Competition – Preliminary Round” at Dewan Muhibah, Berakas at 8 of the Monday morning.
Twenty-four schools around Brunei participated in the said competition. The performances were divided into two sessions. There were 12 schools performing in the morning and the other 12 in the afternoon.
But there were only 7 out of the 12 schools’ performances were seen during that morning.
The 7 schools mentioned were:
1) SM Abu Bakar – Adai-Adai
2) SM Awang Semaun – Hola-Hela
3) SM PAP Hajah Masna – Lanang Beladu Lanang
4) Sekolah Tinggi Perempuan Raja Isteri – Jipin Laila Sembah
5) SM Sultan Sharif Ali – Indung Anak
6) SM Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah – Adai-Adai
7)Pusat Tingkatan Enam Katok – Dundang- Dundang
The schools performed according to the order above.
The results were released in the afternoon of the same day and to PTEK’s joy, the school grabbed the top place and the highest mark among the 11 schools. PTEK won with 89.2% which is 446 Points in total.
