On the 27th and the 28th of January 2010, the PTEK Energy Club (or E-Club) representatives , Wafi, Rhona & Lela along with supervisors, Mr. Makarimi and Ms. Raimie attended the International Workshop on Energy and Materials for Sustainable Development at the UBD Chancellor Hall.
The ceremony started with the inaugural speech from Minister of Energy, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Dewa Major General (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Mohammad bin Haji Daud followed by the cutting of the ribbon to mark the start of the International Workshop.

- Anodic Titania Nano-tube Arrays for Application in Dye Sensitized Solar Cells by Proffessor Sam Zhang from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
