Adventure Club - Camping & Orientation Day 3
9th December 09- The final day.
Early in the morning we went for a trip to Wasai Wang Kadir at Kg.Labi. Before we arrived, we met the penghulu of the mukim labi to hear a welcoming speech about Labi and their surroundings. We were also told about what danger could happen and we would have to be extra cautious when we get to the wasai.
The path to the wasai was slippery and very dangerous. Luckily, none of us got injured because we helped each other a lot. Good work guys ;)
After that we went to the mosque for prayer.
We arrived at Tasek Merimbun at 5.15pm.
Next, we headed to the Sago Industry at 7.30 PM. There we saw a demonstration how to make ambuyat.
Some of the members also had the pleasure of eating the ulat utut found in the rumbia tree. They ate it when it was still alive! Some of the teachers also ate them. The factory people said it contains a lot of protein. Well, I’ll let you be the judge of that.
We went home at around 9pm. The trip was tiring yet we still managed to have a karaoke session in the bus. Some of the members even danced :P
We, the juniors of AC club, enjoyed our three days orientation and this was all because of the hard working and committed senior embers of the adventure club. On behalf of the juniors, I would like to thank all the juniors for making it happen for us and we will miss you guys very much.
