Korean Food, NE1? You gotta ring the alarm..
On Wednesday, the 29th of July 2009, the Korean Culture Club organized a Mini Korean Food Sale in school. Selling of the Korean Food started at 8.45AM and ended at 2PM (It didn’t even last until the given time as the food finished fast. :D)
The students seemed to be fighting over the Kimchi Fried Rice (김치 볶음밥)& Kimbab (김밥)as both dishes ran out quickly.
Ramyeon (라면) & Spicy Tteokbokki (매운 떡볶이) were also warmly welcomed by the students.
The sale was for charity and to earn funds for the KCC’s major event next year, the Korean Culture Day.
The Korean Culture Club would like to thank everyone for the success of the event and would like to apologize for any delays and inconvenience caused on that day and sorry that we couldn’t attend to the demands of some customers.
Note: Just to clear something out, although the event was said to disobey the rules about the CCAs at this time, just to let everyone know, the KCC had been FULLY PERMITTED by the Principal herself to go on with the event. Since the Cooking Committee had already bought all of the ingredients BEFORE the cancellation of the Korean Culture Day, we had NO CHOICE but to organize the Mini Sale instead of wasting them.
So please, stop insulting & saying hurtful things about the club. Don’t just say things that you don’t know anything about.
