The sound of the bounce, the squeek of sneakers against the wood panelled floor... the jeers and cheers of the crowd as they live in the moment of it all... and finally to the grand roar from the crowds as our team achieved victory in the Maktab Duli Cup Finals of 2009.
It was an amazing match between the teams from Pusat Tingkatan Enam Katok and Laksamana College of Business. From the moment the basketball was thrown, and the whistle blown, it was non-stop action till the end.

Laksamana was leading from the start of the game, but it was a very close match up till the 3rd quarter with Laksamana leading our team by 1-2 points. But our team toughened it up and came back to roars of delight and celebration from the PTEK supporters who came to watch as our team finally clinched the lead 41-39 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
Into the crucial 4th and final quarter of the match, Laksamana fought hard, the lead being exchanged back and forth between the 2 teams. But later into the quarter, PTEK began to step it up a notch, bringing in a new game and surged up the scoreboards leading as much as 13 points at a time.
The time on the clock was running out, with PTEK continuing to hold a rather comfortable lead. Finally, with the sound of the buzzer, it marked the end of the Laksamana’s campaign to lift the MD Cup. Pusat Tingkatan Enam Katok emerged as the CHAMPIONS with the score 75-61.
It was truly a superb match played by both teams from Laksamana College of Business and Pusat Tingkatan Enam Katok and both teams deserve to be applauded for their valiant efforts.
It was a great campaign to the Cup for our team, not losing a single match, beating Maktab Sains, Pusat Tingkatan Enam Meragang, Chung Hwa Middle School, Laksamana College of Business, Maktab Duli Team A and Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien College.
